Are you starting Japanese from zero? This lesson is designed for complete beginners — no preparation needed, no pressure, everything explained in clear English.
Your first lesson — we start where YOU are:
Tell me your goal (travel? anime? work? living in Japan?) and I'll build a simple, step-by-step plan for you. You don't need to know a single Japanese word to book this lesson.
What we can cover (based on your goals and pace):
- Hiragana and Katakana — reading and writing, step by step
- Basic greetings and self-introduction
- Numbers, dates, and everyday vocabulary
- Simple sentence patterns for daily conversation
- Pronunciation tips from a native speaker — Japanese pronunciation is easier than you think!
This lesson is perfect for you if:
- You have never studied Japanese before
- You tried studying alone (apps, YouTube) but felt lost
- You want a clear plan, not random phrases
After every lesson: I'll send you written notes — what we learned, what to review, and what's next. You'll never wonder "what should I study now?"
How I teach:
I'm a native Japanese speaker, fluent in English, living in Malaysia for 9 years. My professional background is 7 years of coaching and giving structured feedback — so my teaching style is patient, organized, and encouraging. If you're confused, that's my job to fix, not yours to apologize for.
