Lessons should generally be booked chronologically, meaning that the second lesson should be booked after the first, and so on.

LESSON PLAN

The didactic approach of my courses is the task approach. This means that the students are the protagonists of their learning process and my task as a teacher is to guide them. At the end of the course, you must complete an assignment where you show what you have learned in the classes developed.

The final work will not have a grade, but it will have feedback. The goal of this feedback is to help you to continue your language learning. I hope you enjoy the learning process.

You will learn to express your opinion about one topic. We'll focus on Writing, Vocabulary, Grammar and Speaking.


FINAL ASSIGNMENT

First part

You will have to write a text in Spanish (no more than 130 words). In that text, you will have to express your opinion about night outings.

Second part

You will have to tell us your opinion about night outings and support it. You will have 4 minutes to do that.


LESSON PLAN

Lesson 1

Contents: leisure. Living the night. Expressions of Argentine youth slang. Television and radio. Review of irregular verbs in the present tense.

Activity: discuss nighttime hobbies.

Class name: "¿Cuál es tu pasatiempo favorito?"

In this class, we will study some evening leisure activities. Also, we will study some slang expressions from Argentina and review irregular verbs in the present tense. Finally, we will talk about our favorite hobbies.

 

Lesson 2

Contents: contrast and compare information. Organize the discourse. Expanding information. Connecting links: "y", "pero", "en cambio". General connectors. Relative sentences: "que" and "donde". Reading an article about a youth pastime.

Activity: reading of the youth pastime. Individual writing of a short opinion article.

Class name: "Pasatiempos de la juventud".

In this class, we will learn how to contrast and compare information. We will study the nexuses "y", "pero" and "en cambio". We will also review some discourse connectors. We will read an article about youth pastime and then write one.

 

Lesson 3

Contents: review of the contents of previous classes.

Activity: Review of individual writings. Group socialization on the points of view of each student.

Class name: "Discusión y revisión de las producciones".

This class will have two parts. In the first part, we will review each student's individual writings. In the second part, we will socialize their points of view as a group (group discussion). Also, we will review the contents studied in the previous classes.

- Bring a pen and a notepad to take notes.

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.
