Objective:
Students will practice speaking fluently and confidently in English through guided conversation.
🪄 Lesson Plan Outline
1. Warm-up
Goal: Help the student relax and get talking.
Teacher prompts:

“How are you today?”

“What did you do today?”

“How’s the weather?”
-
“Did anything interesting happen this week?”
💡 Tip: Show interest and ask short follow-up questions like “Really?”, “Why?”, “How did that make you feel?”
2. Main Free Talk Activity
Choose one topic based on student interest or daily life.
Examples:

Daily routine – “What’s a normal day like for you?”

Hobbies – “What do you like to do for fun?”

Travel – “Have you ever traveled abroad?”

Food – “What’s your favorite meal to cook or eat?”

Movies / Music – “What kind of movies do you like?”

Future goals – “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?”
Techniques:

Encourage full-sentence answers.

Paraphrase or correct gently when needed.

Ask open-ended questions (“Why do you like…?” instead of “Do you like…?”).

Introduce 2–3 useful vocabulary or expressions from the conversation.

Teacher: “You said you like cooking. What’s your favorite dish to make?”
Student: “I like make spaghetti.”
Teacher: “Nice! You like to make spaghetti. What do you put in your sauce?”
3. Wrap-Up
Goal: End positively and reinforce learning.
