This Lesson is great for beginners and adults to be used in everyday life.
By the end of this lesson, Students should be abe to:
Identify common food and drinks/beverages
Answer questions about breakfast,lunch and supper in English
Talk about their favorite food.
Visual aids (Pictures) would be used for students to identify foods
Preference expression will be taught: Proper use of : “I like” and “I don’t like” + food/drink (e.g., “I like pizza. I don’t like tea.”).
Introduce “he/she likes” and “he/she doesn’t like” (e.g., “She likes pasta. He doesn’t like vegetables.”).

Role Play: Examples
Practice ordering food at a restaurant:
• Teacher Edwin: “What would you like to eat?”
• Student: “I would like pizza, please.”
Add more details:
• Teacher Edwin: “Would you like a drink?”
• Student: “Yes, I would like orange juice.”
Asking the student to name 5 foods they like and don’t like.
Asking the student to describe their favorite meal.
