Description

The Bible is the best-selling book in history, and for good reason. The Bible is not only history, but it also contains poetry, wisdom literature, biography, and most of all, tells us how to live.

In this lesson, we will be doing Bible study in English, focusing on a small passage for each lesson. The books we read and the passages we focus on will be completely up to you.
  • We will read from the NLT version, which is a translation that is easy to understand for non-native speakers. It is available for free online.
  • Before each lesson, we will choose the passage. The length will depend on your English level, but most likely we'll focus on one chapter at a time.
  • During the lesson, we will take turns reading out loud. We will do some shadowing to help improve your pronunciation.
  • We will also go over any new vocabulary and phrases.
  • Lastly, we'll discuss the meaning of the text.
