Learn how to turn your CV and cover letter into a sales brochure that grabs the hirer's attention
Description
In theory, there is no right or wrong way to write a CV but there are some things you should definitely know before sending it to your dream company.
One survey recently showed that a hirer may look at your CV for only 6 seconds before deciding whether or not to read on. A CV and cover letter are your sales brochure telling the company why they should hire you.
This lesson explains how to structure your CV and letter so that it gets the attention of the person hiring and, whilst there are no guarantees, should hopefully lead to an interview.
The lesson will show you:
- How to structure your CV to grab the hirer's attention ad what terminology to use.
- What you should and shouldn't include in your CV and letter.
- How to highlight why the company needs you.
- Why lack of experience may not be a bad thing.
