In order to progress in a language, you have to use what you've learned. Trying to speak without being afraid of making mistakes is the key. You probably don't have many chances to speak Japanese, especially if you're studying by yourself.
Recommended for students who want to practice using what they know, create more chances to practice conversation, want to learn more vocabulary through conversation. Even if you think you can't speak much Japanese, don't be afraid and have fun!
