Description

This 25-minute trial lesson is designed for complete beginners who would like to experience their first Brazilian Portuguese class and discover how the lessons can be adapted to their goals.

In this lesson, you will learn:

  • Basic greetings and introductions
  • How to say your name and nationality
  • A few essential personal pronouns
  • Simple ways to use the verb ser 
  • Useful phrases for your first conversation in Portuguese

We will practise with simple examples, guided questions, and a short conversation. You do not need any previous knowledge of Portuguese.

We will also briefly talk about your reasons for learning Portuguese, your interests, and the situations in which you would like to communicate. This will help me suggest the best next steps for your learning.

The lesson is taught in a calm, supportive, and welcoming environment. You will have time to ask questions and speak without pressure.

By the end of the trial lesson, you will be able to greet someone, introduce yourself, say where you are from, and use a few basic Portuguese sentences.
