Подробности урока

 TOEIC SPEAKING LESSON

Topic: Describing a Picture (TOEIC Speaking Part 1)

Level: Intermediate
Time: 25 minutes
Focus: Describing scenes with details and fluency

?️ Presentation (5 mins)

Show a photo (e.g., people in an office or at an airport).
Model a description:

“In the picture, I can see three people in an office.
One woman is typing on a computer, another woman is talking on the phone, The man seems to be the supervisor ensuring the job is done as expected.
They look busy and focused.”

Highlight useful language:

  • Location: in the middle, on the left/right, in the background

  • Actions: talking, typing, sitting, writing, supervising

🧩 Practice (10 mins)

Students describe a similar photo (use timer: 30 seconds – like TOEIC format).
Provide prompts:

  • Where are they?

  • What are they doing?

  • What can you see in the background?

💬 Production (10 mins)

Students choose a new photo (e.g., café, meeting, airport) and describe it freely.

Teacher gives short feedback on clarity, vocabulary, and fluency.
