Native speakers love to use idioms in their conversations. It's good to be familiar with them and have fun using them when talking to friends and colleagues! Idioms are words and phrases that have special meanings when used in a conversation.
Description
Idioms are English expressions that have special meanings when used with other words and phrases. Can you imagine a day raining cats and dogs? Or somebody shouts to you, "Break a leg!" Relax! It only means "it's raining hard" and that somebody wishes you "Good luck!" It's really fun studying idioms and finally using them in our daily conversations in English! We can read a story where these idioms are found and we'll practice how to use them each time! Remember: Every cloud has a silver lining! Catch you soon!
