Idioms are by definition difficult in another language, so :
We can learn by themes (e.g. idioms about the theme of 'water')
If you have specific requests - we can discuss them.
We can choose idioms based on frequency of use in English.
The idioms will be learnt in a fun way with students trying to choose the right definition from three possible choices.
There will be sentence examples of how to use the idiom.
A chance for the student to practice using the idioms.
Where ever possible some explanation of the original meaning of the idiom.
Trial is possible
The lesson can be a single lesson or can be used as a regular lesson.

Tony sensei is a fantastic teacher who is very attentive to each student's needs. He introduced to me some interesting idioms related to employment while providing example sentences as well as their origins, and as this was the first time, flexibly delivered the lesson while seeing how the lesson goes. In terms of topics, students can choose or you can ask him to choose for you. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to improve their English steadily :)

プロ意識が高い教材が充実内容が充実

レッスンページにすでに十分クリアな説明がありますが、レッスン前にあらためて、レッスンの流れやどんなアクティビティーを行うかなどを知らせてくれました。生徒ときちんと向き合ってくださる先生だなと感じました。初めてでしたが、まったく不安や緊張を感じることなく受講できました。興味のあるテーマで教材を作ってもらえるので、お願いしてみました。ランダムなidiomを勉強するよりも、ずっと楽しかったです。きちんとレッスンプランが練られていますが、生徒にあわせて柔軟に対応してもらえます。質問したりする余裕もあります。フィードバックも素晴らしかったです。また受けてみたいです。

教材が充実話しやすい対応が丁寧

Tony先生は、物腰の柔らかい話しやすい先生です。すぐにリクエストにも応じて下さり、安心して授業に臨むことができました。まず、レッスンを予約したときに、何についてのイディオムを学びたいか希望を聞いて下さります。私は、この季節に使えそうなsummer にしました。レッスンは、無駄の内容大変よく組み立てられています。こんなにもsummerに関連したイディオムがあるのかとびっくりしました。イディオム起源などは大変興味深かったです。ただイディオムを学ぶだけでなく、練習問題などもしますので、頭に入りやすいいと思いました。とても熱心で教師としての経験が豊富な先生です。

Tony is a brilliant teacher who is very knowledgeable, kind and professional. I have been taking his idiom lessons for a few months now, and at each lesson, he teaches me a lot of new things. He lets me choose a theme in advance, and at the end of the lesson, he makes sure that the expressions introduced are all well understood by the student. He welcomes any questions that may arise during or after the lesson, so you can really make a progress with his lessons. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to improve their English!
