Description

In this lesson we will look at two of the different types of past verb tense that we use.

You will learn about:

  • The past perfect tense
  • The past perfect continuous tense

I will provide the formula for these two tenses and we will look at examples of how these are used in speaking and writing.

We will then fill in a complete the gaps exercise using these verb tenses.

After this you will be given the chance to practice writing your own sentences using these verb tenses. 

We will finally work on speaking skills using these verb tenses, as I will asking you questions using them. You can reply using these tenses.
