This is a service where I will transcribe every word spoken in Japanese in an audio file or a video.
Even if you have audio that could be more than 200 characters long, that is no problem. See 1) and 2) below for how this service works.
Song lyrics transcription is not available.
The transcript file will be prepared in a plain text format. And, unless you request otherwise in advance, my transcripts will be written in a kanji/kana mixture, in such a way that I, a native Japanese speaker, think is natural. The characters are counted in this form. Punctuation marks are not counted.
My transcript will look like:
「私は音楽が好きです。」(Character count: 9),
「わたしはおんがくがすきです。」(in all kana / Character count: 13)
If you prefer otherwise, please ask in advance!
The total character count can't be known until the work is done, so here's how this works:
1) No matter how long (or short) your audio file may be, start by requesting this service right here. And, if the number of transcribed characters for the entire file turns out to be within 200, you will get the whole transcript and the service is complete.
2) If the number of characters being transcribed exceeds 200 partway through the audio file, I will stop there and send you that first 200-character portion of the transcript, and the service is done. If you want me to continue, you need to request and purchase this service again, and I will transcribe the next up-to-200 characters. (And repeat this process as many times as needed.)
Please provide me with the audio at the time of your service request.
Please send me a digital audio file, or if it's something on the Internet like a YouTube video, you can just give me the link and the title of the video.
The due date and time (for the first 200 characters) will be decided and set as the "lesson appointment," and "lesson is complete" when the transcript is delivered to you.
NOTE: There could be a part or parts of the audio that I can't transcribe for such possible reasons as poor audio quality, the speaker not speaking clearly, or the speaker having a strong accent or speaking a strong regional dialect. Also, there could be cases where some proper nouns can't be figured out. I will leave all these parts blank (not to be counted as characters). The proper nouns, when the kanji for them can't be determined, will be typed in kana. I ask for your understanding.
If you accept my statement above, please go ahead and make a request!（↓） I'll do my best!
