Let’s do gift-wrapping with fabric/cloths! It is not only good for environment but also unique and looks beautiful.

Description

In this lesson, I will show you gift wrapping techniques using square fabric. It is Furoshiki techniques. Furoshiki is a Japanese traditional cloth for wrapping. But we can use the technique with any square fabric such as bandana, scarf etc. It is simple and easy.


Contents of the lesson

I will show 4-6 different ways of gift-wrapping techniques using bandana and scarf.

* Basic box wrapping
* Flower style wrapping (good style for sphere, circle, odd shape item 
* DVD/Book wrapping
* wine bottle wrapping  
* 2 wine bottle wrapping

Please prepare following items before the lesson start:
   Couple of Bandanas or scarfs (approximately 50cm x 50cm square cloths)
   1 x any cloths which is larger than 90cm x 90cm if possible.
   1 x DVD case or book(around A5 paper size)
   1 x orange, apple or grapefruit,
   2 x wine bottles.
   A couple of elastic bands

 

This lesson is mainly for one person. You can try with your friends, but you may not have enough time to finish all techniques in the case.
