物語の舞台は19世紀末のカナダ・プリンスエドワード島です。
私が子どもの頃から大好きな作品で、本も映画もたくさん見てきました。

このレッスンでは、講師がプリンスエドワード島を訪れた時の話や、ストーリーの流れ、モンゴメリの生涯について日本語でお話し、当時の女性に求められた役割や生活ぶりを見ていきます。
