Improve your speaking at your own pace
레슨 상세 내용
During the first 15-minute, free lesson, we will discuss your current level and your goals for future lessons.
We will focus on speaking and clear pronunciation. Improving English speaking requires only 2 things to be successful: mechanics and memory. As students practice with me they will gradually remember more words and phrases. These words and phrases will be targeted to the student's speaking goals and desired subject matter.
I will also help students correct the "mechanical" part of making good sounds. This is all about the shape of the mouth and air flow. This too will be tailored to the student. In general we will begin with sounds most Japanese speakers have difficulty reproducing, such as "R" combinations, "L", "W", "V", "Th", final "S", etc. Since getting pronunciation correct can be a tiring ordeal for some students, we will leave a few minutes of each lesson for free conversation
