Lesson Pack Details

- This is a lesson pack of 4 lessons in total. When you send the request for the first lesson, points for all 4 lessons will be deducted at once.
- Once the tutor confirms the first request, “100% OFF coupons” that can be used for the remaining 3 requests will be issued automatically.
- You can use these coupons to send requests for the remaining lessons.
- The validity period for this lesson pack is 60 days starting from the scheduled date and time of the first confirmed lesson.

Even if the first scheduled lesson is canceled, the already set validity period will not change.

Description



In order to successfully pass the EIKEN 2nd grade, elementary, junior and senior high school students need good exposure to higher level:

  • topics
  • vocabulary
  • critical thinking skills
  • writing skills
Learners will find the course challenging, but will also discover many fascinating things about the world, not just English!

Through this course, young learners will be exposed to all of these through an approach which includes elements of:
  • TED Ed video study
  • Vocabulary-building
  • Note-taking
  • Speech writing and editing
  • Questions & Answers (Q&A)
  • Speech video recording (optional)
This course is recommended to take at least six months (or 24 times) before taking the EIKEN 2nd grade test.

Learners should be prepared to devote two (2) hours of homework / preparation for each 30 minute lesson.
With each lesson pack (4 lessons), the learner will learn 200 new vocabulary items taken from the 2級 test, learning about 50 items between each lesson. After 20 lessons, the learner will be exposed to close to 1000 of the most frequently occuring vocabulary items in the 2級 test. 

英検2級に合格するためには、小学生・中学生・高校生は、特に下記の点について、より高いレベルの学習を必要とします：
  • トピック：(例) 芸術、哲学、心理学、文学、科学とテクノロジー、ビジネスと経済学　など
  • 単語
  • 批判的思考スキル
  • ライティングスキル

このコースは、英検2級の受検前に少なくとも6ヶ月間（または24回）受けられることをお勧めします。
 
※学習者は、各30分のレッスンのために、約２時間の宿題/準備をする必要があります。

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 1hours before lesson start time.→ 100% of price charged.
  • Between 1-24hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
