Dear Students,

This is to introduce the new Cafetalk lesson app, Lattep. As you know, Skype can no longer be used for Cafetalk lessons. However Cafetalk have provided their own in-house app Lattep which is very easy to use and is what I will be using for my lessons.

First you log in to Cafetalk and go to your lesson page. Then on the page you will see a blue button that says 'Start Lattep'. Click the button and a new tab in your browser will open where the video call will take place. The page will ask you if it can use your camera and microphone, you allow this and then the lesson can begin when everyone is ready.

If you want to see what the page looks like before you have the lesson, you can click 'Start Lattep' from your lesson page to test it.

Lattep is free of charge, you do not need to create an account for it, and it is very easy to use!
