Hello everyone,

As some of you know, I recently went back to school January to begin working towards my Master's degree in Education and Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Sciences at Alliant International University. So far, this experience has been great. I have been fortunate to learn so much about teaching strategies, theories, and tools. So much of the experience I have gained with Cafetalk, my past role as an English teacher in Niigata, Japan, and my current post as an instructional aide in a high school special education program has helped me to understand what I learn at school better, and kept me motivated to continue doing my best.

Some of the advantages of recent classes have included:

- Creating lesson and unit plans for Social Sciences and English for language learners.
-Building several websites for educational purposes such as coping with ADHD and understanding how to use technology to improve education.
- receiving training on how to use digital tools from like Skype, Google Educational Suite, and Microsoft in Education to increase my skillset.
- making questionnaires for optimal feedback and tracking behavior improvements.

All of these new experiences are helping me serve my current and future students better.

I am interested in knowing two things from Cafetalk Users.

1) Do you need me at any times that I am not currently available? I plan to make more time available from 7/17/2019-8/18/2019 but would like your input first.

2) Are there any specific Social Science or English topics you would like to learn about? I am making some new lessons, and your feedback may be helpful.
