Hi! I'm a retired engineer living in Texas.  I have more than 6 years of experience working at chemical plants in Japan (Niihama, Ehime-ken and Handa, Aichi-ken), and also did post-graduate research at Kyoto University.
 
While working and studying in Japan I learned how difficult it is for Japanese people to learn to communicate with English speakers, even after studying English in school and privately for years.  Although many Japanese can learn to read English adequately, they still struggle with listening and speaking.  If this sounds like you, then my lessons can help you!
I will do a quick evaluation of your English strengths and gaps, and will customize the lessons to address your individual needs.
 
My hobbies are golf, piano, and watching Japanese TV shows (like チコちゃんに叱られる).  Let's talk about your hobbies, too!
