Hello!
Nice to meet you.

I was born and raised in Korea. Since I was young, I have enjoyed studying foreign languages, as I find it fascinating to understand different cultures through their languages.

I enjoy watching dramas, and when I watch foreign-language dramas, it feels even more interesting whenever I recognize words or expressions that I already know.

As I continued studying foreign languages, I became curious about how foreigners feel when learning Korean. This led me to become a Korean language teacher. I also realized that my native language, Korean, is a very interesting and beautiful language.

I majored in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language at university, and later studied Korean linguistics in graduate school. After completing my master’s degree, I taught Korean for four semesters at a university in Russia and worked for one year at a university in Germany.

At the university, I mainly taught speaking, listening, and grammar. Most of my students were at TOPIK levels 2 to 4, so I have a lot of experience teaching beginner and intermediate learners.

Through Cafetalk, I would love to meet students from diverse backgrounds. Whether you want to learn Korean casually or study it in a more structured way, everyone is welcome.
