Sierra GM 講師のプロフィール
Hello! My name is Sierra, it's very nice to meet you. I am relatively new to teaching, and I've just begun my 120-Hour TEFL Certification Course, but I strongly believe in testing my edge in a live one-on-one setting. I encourage leaving constructive feedback on my lessons.
I take tutoring very seriously, and private lessons can be a lifesaver for students who struggle with learning barriers such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, etc.
I have personally endured these same struggles, so I know what it's like and can empathize with my students while also helping them learn study methods custom tailored to their preferred style of learning, be it visual, auditory, tactile, etc.
My lessons are 25 minutes long, partitioned into five 5-minute blocks. The first 5-minute block is dedicated to review material from the previous lesson, or to establish an appropriate lesson plan for new students, whereas the fifth 5-minute block is dedicated to homework, as well as ensuring the assignment suits the student's needs.
Lessons can be hosted on Lattep, Zoom, or Google Meet, and although camera use is preferred, I do not consider it mandatory.
