Hello, my name is Matthew. Join me for one-on-one English conversation! We can discuss your day, read an article, or simply relax and chat. Together, we can explore the art of small talk in English—an important part of everyday life. I can also help you understand pop culture references, idioms, and slang.
I have spoken with people from around the world, including Asia, the Middle East, South America, and Africa.
I have over five years of experience teaching professionals and college students online. I also homeschooled my two sons from elementary school through high school.
I earned a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and Social Justice, along with a Graduate Certificate in Equity-Centered Teaching and Learning, from Central Michigan University (2026). I also earned a Bachelor of Science in International Relations, with a minor in Political Science, graduating cum laude in 2024.
I am a member of three honor societies, including Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Sigma Alpha. I also hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate and a 170-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate
