Hello there!
My name is Jessica and I am a native English speaker and certified English teacher from Nigeria.
I have lived in Nigeria all my life, but I still had a love for exploring different cultures and am eager to travel the world. I believe that experiencing different cultures is the key to personal growth and I can`t wait to broaden my horizons.
I would love to visit South Korea, China, Japan and Thailand. Though am a huge fan of K-pop and K-drama. The cultures of these countries have always fascinated me, and am eager to immerse myself in their traditions and explore the beautiful landscapes. My interest in these Asian countries has led me to pick up some basic conversational languages.
I have been Teaching since 2020 and am currently working as a private English tutor and also an High School English tutor. I help prepare student for their Entrance exams, States exams and A-levels exams. I also teach Literature to arts students. My expertise in English language has enabled me to help student from diverse background and proficiency levels to improve their language skills and achieve their learning goals.
ENGLISH LESSONS AND CONVERSATIONAL PRACTICE
My teaching approach is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for my students. To ensure that the kids are actively participating in class, I use the 'TPR' method.
I use the conversational method for the Adults enabling them express their thought with clarity and confidence.
I make sure to provide clear explanation, real-life examples and hand-on activities to help the students understand the materials better.
Additionally, I Offer constructive feedback to my students, highlighting areas where they need to improve and guide them to succeed.
