Greetings

16 years. MBA. TEFL Diploma. Cambridge TKT. Fortune 500 executive turned global educator. I’ve worked at 3 of America’s biggest corporations, taught Business English at 4 key Chinese universities, and built a life across Southeast Asia that most people only dream about. Let’s talk English, business, hip hop history, Soul Food, tech, sports, expat life, and everything in between.


My name is Jon Dallas. I’m an African-American educator, entrepreneur, and expat living in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and I’m 60 years old, fit, and still building.

Before I became a global educator, I spent years inside three Fortune 500 corporations learning how business actually works--from the boardrooms, the politics, the communication skills that separate people who get noticed from people who get overlooked. That experience, combined with 16 years of teaching Business English across Southeast Asia and at four major Chinese universities, gives me a perspective shaped by real boardrooms, real classrooms, and real life.

My teaching philosophy is built around three things: Clarity, Confidence, and Credibility. Whether you’re a corporate professional trying to advance your career, an entrepreneur building something from scratch, or simply someone who wants to speak English with more power and presence, I know exactly how to get you there.

But I’m more than an English teacher.

I’m a hip hop historian who lived through every era from the Bronx to today. I’m a Soul Food cook who carries the culinary traditions of rural Black America in my hands. I’m a Trekkie, a geography lover, a real estate investor, a content creator, a Claude Code enthusiast, and a man who has spent decades exploring the world and rebuilding himself along the way.
