Hi Everyone!
Thank you for looking at my profile. I am Doctor Mel. I am a native speaker of English from the UK and I have a honours degree, Master's degree and a PhD in English Literature.
I am an experienced, enthusiastic and patient teacher of the English language. I have had years of teaching experience online and in person. I have worked in schools and universities with students of all ages and all levels. I believe learning should be fun as well as rewarding and I create individual study plans designed to meet the needs and learning aims of each student. I use a wide range of resources to ensure that my lessons are engaging as well as educational.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced student of English, I can help you achieve your language learning goals. I am experienced in IELTS and TOEFL exam preparation and will help you to prepare for exam success. I can also help with business English and academic English.
If you are new to English, I will help you to start speaking with confidence from the first lesson. As a learner of language myself, I understand the difficulties and the joys of learning a new language.
I also offer literature lessons. Whether you want to demystify Shakespeare or learn the secrets of sonnets, I will teach to understand, analyse and love literature. Let me share my passion for words with you!
