Hello, my name is Zanele, and I am an experienced online English teacher with international teaching experience across Canadian and Singaporean platforms, as well as early childhood education in a Montessori setting in South Africa.

I specialise in academically focused English instruction aligned with College and Career Readiness (CCR) standards. My lessons are structured and goal-oriented, with a strong focus on reading comprehension, critical thinking, vocabulary development, and structured writing. At the same time, I believe learning should feel engaging and encouraging, so I create a supportive space where students can build both skill and confidence.

I have experience teaching established curricula such as Wonders by McGraw Hill, and I also design novel-based courses that promote deeper discussion and analytical thinking. I work comfortably with mixed-ability learners, providing scaffolding where needed while challenging strong readers to think more deeply.

My aim is to help students develop strong academic English skills while feeling confident, capable, and motivated in their learning journey
