Hello! I’m Sumbul!
I’m from India, and I’ve spent the last few years teaching English to students of different ages, both online and while living in Japan. My time in Japan influenced the way I teach: calm, gentle, and focused on helping students feel relaxed and confident when speaking.
I hold a master’s degree in Psychology and a 120-hour Advanced TEFL certification, and I genuinely enjoy combining psychology with language teaching. It helps me understand how each student learns, what motivates them, and how to create lessons that fit individual goals and personalities. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced learner, I will adjust the pace, content, and style to suit your needs.
My lessons are conversation-based, friendly, and practical. I explain grammar in a simple, natural way, give soft corrections, and encourage you to speak comfortably. If you like structured practice or homework, I can prepare that for you — and if you prefer a light, relaxed class, that works too.
Outside of teaching, I love movies, dramas, anime, art, and Japanese music. I also enjoy reading, journaling, traveling, and discovering different cultures. These interests often help me connect with students and make lessons enjoyable and personal.
I believe language learning should feel comfortable, encouraging, and meaningful. I’m excited to support you on your English journey and help you grow with confidence.
