Hello everyone and welcome! I am Catherine from Pretoria, South Africa. I am a dedicated, goal-oriented, friendly, enthusiastic and supportive tutor with a passion for forstering English language skills. I am here to help you achieve your goals in learning English.
My approach entails innovative teaching methods with a deep understanding of individual student's needs and goals, ensuring that each student receives personalized support on their learning acquisition journey. As a certified TEFL tutor with over 5 years of classroom and online experience, I mainly assist students with grammar, reading and writing skills, business English, conversational English and English for kids. My lessons are interactive, informative and interesting with active participation of students to help them boost their language fluency, listening, reading and writing skills. I usually give constructive feedback at the end of each lesson and that encourages students to stay motivated and eager to learn. I am passionate about teaching English to students at different levels, from the ages of 6, teenagers to adults. Teaching and interacting with students from diverse backgrounds has always been my passion, learning about their cultures and traditions, and also teaching them about mine.
I am an out-going person who likes travelling, hiking, sports, cooking, gardening, reading and music.
