My lessons are for beginners who want to start speaking Japanese in a calm and supportive environment.
If you are shy, nervous, or completely new to Japanese, you are very welcome.

For 10 years, I taught English and Japanese language arts to junior high school students at a private tutoring school in Japan.
Through that experience, I learned how to explain things clearly, adjust to each student’s pace, and help them move from “I understand” to “I can actually use it.”

In my lessons, I focus on grammar for conversation.
I don’t want grammar to feel dry or overwhelming.
Instead, I will help you learn how to use grammar in real communication, step by step.

My lessons are a good fit for you if:

  • you are a complete beginner in Japanese
  • you feel more comfortable with English support
  • you are shy and want a calm, patient teacher
  • you want to build a strong foundation for JLPT N5
  • you studied grammar before, but still cannot use it well in conversation

I will adjust each lesson to your level and goals.
If needed, I can also create simple practice materials just for you.
