Hello everyone!
My name is Jonathan and i live in Lusaka, Zambia. I am passionate about teaching English to beginner, intermediate and advanced level students. Whether your goal is to improve your conversational, business or academic English skills, I will help you build your confidence and unlock your potential in English language.
My career history
I have a University degree in teaching English Language and i have taught English for 5 years now both online and in physically. I recently obtained my TEFL certificate and i have taught students from various backgrounds and cultures from India, China and even Meixco. I am excited at the opportunity to interact with you and learn about your culture.
I have worked with students who were about to take entrance exams for university and through working on their comprehension, writing and speaking skills, i managed to help them successfully attain their goal.
Over the years, I have also specialized in teaching middle and high schoolers (intermediate level) vocabulary, spelling, grammar and enhanced writing skills. I have also worked on various online platforms (including Skype, Zoom and Google clasroom) to teach students English communication skills which involve essay writing and interview preparation.
My teaching style
I beleive that learning should be interactive and fun as it puts my students at ease and maintains their attention during lessons. All my lessons are customized to fit the indivual needs of my students.
My hobbies and interests
I love reading, in fact it has been said of me that i get lost in whatever i read - when i pick up a webnovel, manhwa, inspirational book or fiction writing, i hardly put it down. I am imensely curious about coding and programing and i have recently started training in the field of programing. When i am on vacation, i love to travel and discover new things and places.
