Annyeonhaseyo!
My name is Lee Sang-a.
I lived in Japan for two years when I was in elementary school, and even after returning to South Korea, I continued to study Japanese and entered Kanda University of International Studies.
After graduating, I worked for a Japanese trading company for 8 years.
While living in Japan for 12 years, I taught Korean one-on-one as a Korean language tutor, while also teaching Korean language lessons at a non-profit Asian Cultural Exchange organization.
I am currently working as a freelance Japanese-Korean interpreter while raising two children in South Korea.
I am often told by people around me that I have good reactions and am a good listener.

The most important thing when learning a language is to read, listen, speak, and “get used” to the language itself. Once you have accumulated a certain amount of knowledge, you will gradually become able to speak and write what you think. Once you can start conversing with others to some extent, you will be able to speak like a native by practicing intonation and learning expressions commonly used by locals.

Korean and Japanese are similar yet different in many ways.
Although I typically conduct lessons in Korean, I can explain the differences and subtle nuances in Japanese when necessary.
I will discuss the student’s hopes, hobbies, and learning goals during the trial lesson, and from the next lesson, I will tailor the lesson to each student’s level and preferences.

So, are you ready to start learning Korean?
Let me help you become a confident Korean speaker.
I look forward to seeing you in our lessons.
