Hello! My name is Cumi, and teaching is one of my favorite things to do. For the past two years, I've taught English language in Japan. Before that, I taught English literature and writing for fourteen years at the high school and university levels in the United States. 

My approach to teaching includes two personal beliefs:
  1. If we can laugh together, we can learn together. 
  2. Every person is an individual with their own reasons for studying a particular subject. In order to be a good teacher for you, I will try to get to know you and choose material based on your interests.
