Hello!
My name is Marie and I am a native English speaker originally from London in the United Kingdom. I am a TESOL certfied instructor and enjoy teaching English to speakers of other languages. I also have a degree in English and have lived and studied abroad in both The Netherlands and South Korea.
Speaking from personal experience, I know how hard and overwhelming it can be to learn a new language. As a tutor, I hope to create a relaxed and welcoming learning environment which builds students' confidence and helps them achieve their language goals. I can work on all aspects of the English language with you and lessons can be tailored to meet your own needs and requirements. I believe that so much of learning a language comes from simple conversation so even if you just want to chat we can do that too!
My favourite things to do are travel, read books and play tennis and I am also (trying!) to learn French in my spare time.
