My name is Ekka, from Serbia.

I have over 12 years of experience teaching English as a second language to learners of all ages, including children, university students, and professionals. I hold a degree in English language teaching from a University in Serbia.
I lived in Japan for 6 years and still visit at least once a year—it's a place that feels like a second home to me. During my time there, I had the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings, public schools, conversation schools, colleges, business academies, etc., which gave me valuable insight into different learning styles and classroom dynamics. These experiences have helped shape my flexible, student-centered teaching approach. In addition, I have experience teaching business English and one-on-one conversation lessons.

I am passionate about creating engaging, supportive, and personalized lessons that help students build both their confidence and practical language skills.
I am comfortable teaching a variety of lesson types, including conversational English, academic English, and business communication. My teaching style is calm, supportive, and patient. I like to focus on building confidence and communication skills, while also helping learners enjoy the process.
My Japanese is at an intermediate level, so if you ever get stuck or need a little extra support during our lessons, I’m happy to help in Japanese when needed. Whether you want to improve your conversation, pronunciation, or grammar, I’m here to help — at your pace, and in your way.
