Conor M Tutor Profile
Hello! My name is Conor and I'm a 28-year-old teacher from Ireland, who lives and works in the incredible city of Barcelona, where I teach English to Spanish students, company classes and exam preparation.
I am a passionate and hardworking person with an intense desire to help students achieve their goals. I have worked with people in a wide range of industries and professions, from hospitality, nursing, medicine, logistics, IT and education. I have a high-quality webcam and microphone setup that I use to make podcasts, so I guarantee a well-developed class environment.
I was born in 1989, in Newry, Northern Ireland. I grew up in a small seaside town called Newcastle, Co. Down. I had a very peaceful and happy childhood and my parents were very supportive of my desires to play music, cook, write and practise photography. I really enjoyed working in bars and restaurants, where I learned many skills related to hospitality.
In 2010, I moved to Manchester to study at the University of Manchester. I studied English and Writing and also wrote for a number of different blogs and magazines online, where I published reviews and photographs about bands and live concerts.
I moved back to Ireland shortly after finishing University, and I found myself looking for opportunities overseas. I worked on my Spanish and moved to the incredible Jewel of the Mediterranean sea, Barcelona. I've been here for two years, teaching English to students of all ages and abilities, and enjoying the Mediterranean lifestyle!
