Hi, everyone! I am Shiki. How is your Japanese study going? I hope you are doing well and enjoying learning Japanese.
I love teaching Japanese and meeting new people. I am a patient, kind, certified Japanese teacher with 10 years of teaching experience. I have taught Japanese, both in Japan and overseas, to all Japanese levels at several language schools, a university, a software company, and as a private tutor.
I have taught Japanese to many beginner students who had no knowledge in Japanese. I feel that studying with fun is really important to keep students motivated to learn. Let's learn Japanese in a relaxed and fun atmosphere!!
< For Beginners >
I am offering you a lesson that helps you to improve your conversation skill from the beginner level. I know many students who practiced a lot of speaking from their very beginner level and improved their conversation skill remarkably by the end of their elementary course.
I usually use many picture cards for our practice. Can you say a sentence as soon as you see the picture card? Let's give it a try.
It may be possible for you to practice a free conversation even though you are currently at a beginner level. When you try your free conversation practice for the first time, you may feel nervous, but don't worry about anything! I will ask you simple questions such as " What time did you get up this morning?" or " What do you usually eat for breakfast? "etc. Once you get used to answering these questions, you can ask me the same questions too. This is how it works!!
Let's practice together, and you will surely feel more confident in your Japanese conversation skill.

< About me >
In my free time, I usually go to a park or a museum with my 8-year-old son. On a fine day, we sometimes go on a hike.
We love traveling too. When my son was 5 years old, we went to America to visit our friends. When my son ordered him a cup of shaved ice by himself in English, he looked so happy. Last summer, we went to Thailand and stayed at a guest house. We became friends with some local people there, and my son learned how to count 1-10 in Thai from them.
I am wondering which country I should travel next with my lovely son.
