Nice to meet you. Thank you for checking out my page.
My name is michimichi, and I make ballpoint pens using herbarium.
While raising two kids, I continue to work short hours and handmade activities.

I first started interior herbarium a few years ago when I was a staff member with the primary school parent association.
I was in charge of planning a "handmade experience workshop" for the parents and after discussions, herbarium was among one of the proposals. When I first saw herbarium, which keeps flowers in a beautiful state that can be preserved for a long time for viewing purposes, I thought to myself that I definitely want to give it a try.
I tried many times to grow foliage plants and planters but I never had any luck so I gave up on decorating the room. Yet, when I saw herbarium, I was very excited and I thought "This is it!"

I met a wonderful instructor so I decided to attend the herbarium workshop. Many parents that participated on the day were new to herbarium, but with the advice from the instructor, everyone was able to make cute and spectacular works.
The fun and friendly classroom atmosphere at that time has been an unforgettable memory for me.

After that, I fell in love with the world of herbarium so I studied under the instructor whom I met at the workshop. I acquired diplomas such as interior herbarium and 3d premium oil (hardened herbarium). While learning different techniques, I started selling my works and I started giving workshops here and there.

「Herbarium」means「plant specimen」.
I design preserved flowers and dried flowers in bottles and by adding some oil that is especially used for herbarium, you can enjoy viewing them in a fresh condition for a long time without any special care. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to make something that is more spectacular and satisfying.

My lessons are designed for beginners, for those who had tried it before but weren't satisfied with the results and you want to try again, and for those who have prepared all the kits and materials but you're not sure how to make it...I'll share some tips with you and I'll help you until the work is completed.
Herbarium has become more common and you can find the materials online, home improvement stores, and 100-yen stores.
If you're interested in herbarium as your new hobby or you want to give handmade herbarium gifts to your friends, please try the lesson ♪
