Hello!
I’m Adara and I look forward to our time learning together. Language helps us connect with the people around us, and English is in popular demand. My goal is to make it fun and painless.
I lived in Tochigi for almost a year and taught English at a school there. I love to teach and enjoy having fun conversations. I grew up in the New York City area before moving to the San Francisco area in 2016. I spent many years working in startups and major organizations. I specialize in training and onboarding staff. I look forward to helping students learn how to navigate the English speaking business world and how to speak English just for fun!
I enjoy making cocktails, traveling, throwing cocktail parties and learning about new people and places. I love learning new languages and I am excited to teach you and help you practice a new language as well. I love talking about my hobbies and life experiences and would love to hear about yours.
In our lessons,
- you can learn to communicate professionally or casually.
- you can choose to learn through structured lessons or free flowing conversations.
- you can have session on what you want to learn, what you enjoy talking about, or a chance to practice and get feedback on something you have been working on.
- if you are a beginner or advanced speaker I will do my best to make sure you have a fun and relaxed session.
Qualifications:
- University Degree in English (BA in English and History)
- 10 Years teaching English in formal and informal settings
- 5 years of private one on one tutoring experience
- 6 years of corporate and training experience
