Hi, my name is Yoshie.

I’m from Japan and live in Japan now. I’ve been in Sydney, Australia for 20 years. In Sydney, I gave several Japanese cultural workshops such as Furoshiki wrapping, Gift wrapping and Mizuhiki(Japanese paper cord weaving) for schools, libraries, Community colleges and at Events.

 

Furoshiki wrapping was an especially popular workshop. I showed how to do gift-wrapping with fabric/cloths instead of with paper. People are concerning about environment these days. So am I. We can share ideas and be environmentally friendly together.

 

I give my lessons in Japanese or English.
