Hello everyone. My name is Tomomi.
I am currently living in Taipei, in the northern part of Taiwan.
The food in Taiwan is delicious and cheap. People are kind and gentle, and it is a very nice place.
I studied Chinese in Taiwan and graduated from the University of Taiwan with a degree in Chinese Literature. It was a very valuable experience for me.
Now, I am working as a Japanese language teacher, and I enjoy talking with Taiwanese students not only about Japanese language but also about Japanese culture, customs, news, and so on in class.
I have taught a variety of classes, from basic 50 syllables to advanced Japanese, business, certification, composition, and more.
For beginners, I will explain in Chinese, but for advanced students, I will only use Japanese.
For those who do not speak Chinese, I will teach only in Japanese.

When I was in Japan, I was a teacher at a major piano school. Of course, I also opened a piano school at home and taught piano to a wide range of people, from small children to retired workers.
Since coming to Taiwan, I haven't had the chance to play the piano as often as I would like, but I still love listening to classical music and other types of music, also watching orchestra concerts and operas on video! Of course I listen to Jpop and other music as well. I'd love to hear about your favorite things, hobbies, and specialties, too!
