Lessons with your goals in mind! I am a California state certified teacher with 10 years of experience teaching learners of all ages. I am certified in education and English as a Second Language. I also have my 120 hour TESOL certification. I received my master's in education from Columbia University in New York City. Learning a language is not easy but it is fun and fulfilling and that is what I strive to make it.
I spend the time to get to know you as a learner and as a person and work with you to discuss your language goals. Together we create a plan for your success. I provide all learning materials for our classes. You do not need to have anything ready.
Students need to trust their teacher to reach their full language learning potential. I create an environment of care where my students feel comfortable taking risks while pushing their language abilities to the next level. I speak clearly and slowly if that is what the student needs. I am a second language learner myself, so I understand what the challenges are and also how it feels to be successful! I can't wait to meet you!
