Hi, my name is Mandy. I'm 34 years old and from America. I grew up in Texas, am currently living in Florida and previously lived in Nagoya, Japan for 6 years. In Japan, I taught all ages and levels but especially enjoyed teaching adult-aged private lessons and business English lessons. I went to University for Nutrition and also taught nutrition counseling and cooking. If you are hoping to improve your pronunctiation, speaking skills, fluency, and conversation etiquette, then I am the teacher for you! We can discuss what you would like to practice or need improvement on the most and tailor each lesson to work on different areas that you wish. I have plenty of textbooks and materials that I can share or if you have something in mind that you would like to use, then I am happy to use that too. I speak clearly and adjust my speed, topics and materials as needed but if you need an extra challenge because you are an advanced learner, then we can practice harder materials. I like to laugh and share stories about travel, food, cooking, fitness and American and Japanese cultures. You don't need to feel shy because I am very friendly and patient and understand that learning a different language can be difficult. I would like to get to know you as a student and a friend and can't wait to meet you! Thanks.
