My Teaching Experience...
Hello, everybody! My name is Faith and I'm from the Philippines. My journey teaching English started in 2004. Back then, I delivered classes using an internet phone system. A few years later, I started teaching students through Skype and have been doing so ever since.
My Teaching Style
Over the years, I've acquired different teaching styles that are proven to render results. Of course, I do my best to make classes as lively and fun as possible.
For young students and beginners, I use flashcards, ebooks, pictures and other materials to get them started.
For intermediate students, I have a wide selection of ebooks, audio files and articles to facilitate their learning needs.
For adults and advance students, there's a wide variety of books, articles, topic cards and news sites to choose from based on their study goals or interests.
I usually conduct a trial so I can determine the current level of the student's English communication skills and choose which book or material is the most suitable for them.
I give corrections and suggestions as needed or upon request of the student. I encourage my students to participate actively and help them focus on the lesson to reach their study goals.
My Hobbies
I like to draw or paint when I have spare time.
I sometimes watch movies and TV shows.
Reading novels, listening to music and playing mobile games (occasionally) are some of my other pastimes.
