hello?
I am Yujin Oh, and I have been working as a Korean teacher for 4 years.
I found out about Cafetalk by chance (recommended by my friend) and started teaching.
When I was an undergraduate, I was majoring in Korean language research for native speakers. At that time I taught native Korean student for their school study.
Then, I found out that many international conventions and conferences were held in Korea, and from then on, I started interpreting for foreigners. I worked at international competitions such as IAAF, IRB, and World Firefighters Convention. And also I participated in international conferences and symposiums such as G20, fAO, International Energy Symposium, PID, and MPEG. At that time, I wondered if I could use my major, the Korean language, while meeting people from all over the world. While thinking about it, I came to know about the study of Korean language education as a second laguage.

While majoring in Korean language education, I started teaching classes for foreigners in earnest, and it made me feel very worthwhile.

Classes for foreigners were mainly for academic learners, which were Korean classes for graduate students and undergraduate students. In addition, daily Korean language classes for foreigners residing in Korea (university foreign teachers, Samsung Electronics expatriates). And Korean classes for students from multicultural families were also provided(from 6 years old to 12 years old)

I moved from Korea to the United States with my husband, so I haven't been able to take classes for a little over 8 years, but I'm so happy to be able to take classes again. I opened the class in the hope that my little ability would be helpful to those who want to learn Korean.

I hope my diverse Korean language teaching experience will be helpful to students.
thank you
