Hello everyone, my name is teacher Zimile!

Hello! my name is Zimile, and I'm an English teacher from South Africa. I'm passionate about helping students become confidence and fluent English speakers. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I'm  here to support you on your language journey!

Teaching Background
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education (Senior Phase and FET: Languages) from Durban University of Technology and a Honours degree in Education in languages, literacies and literature from the University of Johannesburg, and a 120-hour TEFL certificate. I have 6 months of classroom experience as a student teacher working with high school learners. I understand the challanges learners face, especially when English is not their first language, and I'm here to guide you every step of the way. 

Teaching Style
My lessons are interactive, personalised, and student-centered. I believe learning should be fun and meaningful, so I use a variety of teaching methods-including conversational practice, visuals, real-life topics, grammar games, and vocabulary exerises- depending on your level and goals. Whether you're learning English for school, travel, work, or daily conversation, I'll create a comfortable space where you feel safe to make mistakes and grow.

  • More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
