Hello! My name is Ahri, and I’m a TESOL-certified English teacher from the United States. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and over five years of experience teaching language and communication skills in both educational and community settings.
I’ve worked as a language tutor in English, Japanese, Spanish, and American Sign Language (ASL), and I’ve also led multilingual youth programs that encourage cultural exchange through language. My teaching style is warm, encouraging, and focused on helping students feel confident when speaking.
I especially enjoy working with beginner and intermediate learners. I take time to understand your goals and create lessons that are supportive, simple, and tailored to your needs. I also have experience teaching very shy students and will never pressure you to speak before you’re ready—we go at your pace.
For me, language and culure are inseperable - you can't learn one without appreciating the other.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
