Greetings! I'm John Peter from Massachusetts (Boston area) USA.

I studied creative writing and art as a university student, then at age 22 I moved to Taichung, Taiwan to teach English to kids and adults. After that I followed an art professor to Yunnan Province, in Mainland China where I gave pottery a try. In 2023 I taught at a private elementary school in the city of Lijiang, which was a lot of fun.

I have spent a lot of my adult life abroad, speaking with and learning from people from around the world. I have a lot of experience teaching online and helping learners practice their speaking, listening, vocabulary, writing, reading, and more. I am more than happy to hear what your English language goals are, and I look forward to seeing you in my class!
