Hello! I’m Vanessa from the Philippines

 

I’m a dedicated, friendly and enthusiastic English teacher with up to 7 years of experience teaching English and over 10 years working in international corporate environments.  My background allows me to understand how English is used in real life, especially in everyday and professional situations.

I focus mainly on daily communication  and conversational practice. My goal is to help students speak English more naturally, confidently, and comfortably in real‑world situations such as:

  • Daily conversations
  • Traveling and meeting new people
  • Social and work‑related discussions
  • Casual professional communication
 

I also enjoy teaching kids and young learners. My classes for children are fun, interactive, and supportive, helping them build a strong foundation in:

  • Vocabulary and pronunciation
  • Speaking confidence
  • Reading and basic writing skills
 

I have taught students from many different countries, with most of my students coming from Japan. This has helped me become more familiar with Japanese culture, learning styles, and communication preferences, allowing me to adjust my teaching approach to suit each student.

In my free time, I love working in our small farm, watching movies, listening to music, reading books, and traveling around the Philippines. I enjoy talking with my students about culture, travel, and everyday life, which makes learning English more practical and enjoyable.
