Hello, my name is Dr. Yu-Ting Huang, and I am currently based in the United States. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree with a concentration in violin performance and pedagogy, and I have over 10 years of violin teaching experience.

I have taught at universities and private music studios in the United States, working with students of different ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. My students range from young children to adults, and I am very familiar with the learning needs of students at different stages.

In my teaching, I place strong emphasis on building a solid foundation, including proper posture, intonation, bow technique, rhythm, and musical expression. I also strive to help students develop confidence and enjoyment in music. Lessons are tailored to each student’s personality, goals, and learning pace to support steady progress in a positive and encouraging environment.

Lessons are available in both English and Mandarin Chinese, and are suitable for students who want to build strong fundamentals, continue improving, or prepare for examinations such as Suzuki and ABRSM.

I warmly welcome new students and look forward to beginning this musical journey with you.
